HSC Industrial's Telemetry System

HSC Industrial Telemetry System will be operational the beginning of July in Rainelle, WV in their water plant.  The system is controlling the pumps at the plant based on the level of the water tank located 400 yards from the plant. (Example) Basically the system operates on whatever level the tank reads, say ten feet the pumps will turn automatically and pump water to the proper amount like fifteen feet or whatever the level is set for, then the pumps will shut off at the correct amount that needed to be pumped. Raleigh County will have a HSC Industrial SCADA system operating in July as well.  Be sure to check back for more information regarding that installation. We have recently been commissioned to install an Automated Logic building automation system for Wyoming County Schools at the Oceania Middle School in Oceania, WV. Wyoming County Schools has been an excellent, long-standing customer of ours for the building automation/ energy management segment of our business.

This project involves providing temperature monitoring, as well as HVAC equipment status information and control, for the use of the county's facilities management staff. This information and control capability will be accessible to the staff from anywhere that Internet access is available to them through a secure access control scheme intrinsic to the Automated Logic WebCTRL system operating software.

Owen Clark
Hughes Supply/Industrial Electric

Owen:

I was looking at some old invoices and found that we have been working with Industrial since about 1982, so we are used to energy management. We have been through the old clock systems up to the latest web control but we have only has an energy manager since 2004. Utility costs in 2003 were as low as $7.80 for 1 mcf and $.04 kWh, now we are paying $16.00 and as much as $.09 kWh with more increases on the way.
