HMI solutions often impose complex demands on software architectures. Wonderware InTouch HMI Visualization, coupled with the award-winning ArchestrA-based Wonderware System Platform is uniquely positioned to meet these challenges.

Solutions built on ArchestrA technology benefit from a single, open and scalable software architecture that can connect to virtually any automation system, historian or business system in use today. The open nature of this platform enables users to expand their existing systems without having to buy new hardware or control systems. Geographically dispersed applications can be rapidly and securely implemented.

Two additional HMI's we utilize in new machine control and monitoring installations are the Siemens TD 400C and SIMATIC TP177micro. These interfaces provide safe operation, are user-friendly, and can be integrated into a PROFIBUS network.

Siemens TD 400C features include:
• Configuration capabilities: for four lines (24 characters per line) or two lines (16 characters per line)
• Configurable keys provide acoustical, tactile, and/ or visual feedback
• User-friendly with selectable character size and a display backlight suitable for adverse lighting conditions
• Device surface can be individually arranged (e.g., in the design of the machine)
• Can be integrated into a PROFIBUS network
• Interface: RS 485
• Configuration with STEP 7 Micro/Win V4 SP 6 TD 400 Wizard

SIMATIC TP177micro features:
• Capable of integration through internet or modbus
• Analog touchscreen or function screen
• Ready to use display graphics
• Capable of 32 configurable languages
• Alpha-numeric and numeric inputs
• 24Vdc supply voltage
• Interface: RS 485
• Configuration with WinCC flexible micro software
