HSC Rapid Deployment Repeater (RDR)

We continue our commitment of providing products and services which enhance safety, improve efficiencies, and make mining jobs easier during normal production and in times of emergency. Our HSC RDR02 Rapid Deployment Repeater is just another way we have proven our commitment to employee health and safety objectives. The RDR02 is our MSHA approved, custom-made, communications device used to improve and extend mine communications. The repeater works by using two specially programmed Kenwood TK 290/390 portables and customized hardware/ firmware to extend leaky feeder and hand-held radio ranges in poor coverage areas. The RDR02 is user friendly, capable of in-band/ cross band communications, and can be set up as a form of temporary communications. The RDR02 has been purchased by numerous mining companies for their mine rescue teams throughout West Virginia. Range deployment varies and is dependent on the heightand mine conditions.

HSC Process Plant Phone PP100AC
HSC INDUSTRIAL continues to expand wireless communication coverage with the introduction of the HSC PP100AC, on-site plant phone. The PP100AC can be used in any plant setting to provide additional rapid means of communication; when land line phones or cellular phones are not an option. PP100AC plant phones are quickly installed, thereby eliminating the time and expense of running lines and conduit wiring for traditional phone systems.
Perfect for process plant locations, the phone provides independent conversation with hand-held radios. The PP100AC contains a built in microphone with background noise canceling features. In addition, PP100AC's base station package provides control room dispatch options such as, capability to store pre-set voice announcements and alert tones, such as plant start-up alerts.
